It was around this time last month that I was welcomed into the Kenyons clan, armed with my work of three years in local government comms and a (nearly completed) degree in PR and Marketing.
With a specialism in social media, I was tasked with working on Kenyons’ online offering as well as getting stuck in to some campaigns. Luckily enough, my first week saw the launch of Kenyons’ new branding along with a brand spanking new website – could it get any more perfect?
On my first day, I was introduced to the team, shook many a hand, and quickly found my way around the building (I’ve just about stopped walking down an extra set of stairs into the basement at home time now). I was genuinely quite shocked at the amount of people that were in the building – a five storey Georgian converted terrace on Rodney Street which houses a whole lot of people working on everything from market research to videography. The amount that Kenyons has to offer came as a pleasant surprise and I couldn’t wait to get stuck in.
I hit the ground running and quickly got involved in campaign planning, focus groups, social media content and I’ve even done a voice over for an animation video. It’s so great to be surrounded by people who are passionate about what they do, and really do know their stuff. From content and digital to design and videography, Kenyons offers it all. A family run business, who really do make you feel part of the family.
