Mike Unger joins the board at Kenyon Fraser ////

Marketing communications firm Kenyon Fraser has appointed Mike Unger to the company’s board of directors.

Mike has been editor of some of the country’s largest regional newspapers – including the Liverpool Echo and Manchester Evening News.  He has also sat on the board of leading UK organisations including the Guardian Media Group and charity Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, where he was chief executive.

As a director of Liverpool-based Kenyon Fraser, Mike will be using his contacts and experience to develop new areas of the business and build on the expansion of the agency’s corporate and health teams.

Kenyon Fraser win United Utilities contract ////

Kenyon Fraser has been commissioned by United Utilities to supply the creative design for a multi-media advertising campaign promoting public safety.

United Utilities which operates water, wastewater, electricity and gas networks, wants to highlight the dangers of swimming in reservoirs.

There have been eight fatalities in the last four years through reservoir swimming.  The campaign will raise awareness of the dangers through advertising across the North West using media channels such as radio, print and leading online sites like Facebook.

Nugent Care choose Kenyon Fraser ////

Liverpool based Charity Nugent Care has chosen Kenyon Fraser to design and produce its promotional materials after a three way pitch. Managing Director Richard Kenyon said, “We have worked with Nugent Care on ad-hoc projects over recent months and we are delighted to have the opportunity to work more closely with this client. Nugent Care do fantastic work across the North West and we are looking forward to playing our part in its continued success.”

Kenyon Fraser wins social marketing project in Glasgow ////

Kenyon Fraser has won the contract to work with Glasgow and Clyde PCT on a youth engagement project called W-WEST ( Why Waste Everything Smoking Tobacco). Work starts this summer.

Kenyon Fraser staff take part in It’s a Knockout ////

Ten Kenyon Fraser employees took part in the inaugural It’s a knockout event hosted by LCVS. The ten participants raised money for Bradbury Fields Charity by taking part in sack racing, tug of wars, mud slinging and climbing over numerous giant inflatable objects.

£550 raised for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation ////

Kenyon Fraser staff have raised over £500 for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. Client Services Manager Amanda Gordon said, "We were really pleased to be able to help such a good cause, and we had a lot of fun doing it." Kenyon Fraser staff took part in various fun activities over a four week period to raise this money.
